Notes for class
- Watch after Three Things In, Three Things Out, which opens the three parts of an HTTP message.
- Read next: the Forms section, starting with The form and its request, which takes the same request apart field by field.
- Try it yourself: point a form at
https://cse134.site/api/echo. Its answer is your own request: the method, every header, and the raw body. Client-Side Communication, step 01 walks through the same form by hand, and step 06 compares the three encodings. - The rules: the HTML standard's form submission and entry list algorithms, and RFC 7578 for
multipart/form-data. method="dialog"closes the dialog a form sits in and sends no request; it is left for another tutorial.- The narration is a synthetic voice (ElevenLabs). Timing follows the narration track, so a recorded voice-over can replace it cue for cue using the transcript.
- With Reduce Motion turned on in the operating system, the film keeps its fades and drops the sliding motion.
- Set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next and Mono, typefaces the Braille Institute designed for readers with low vision.
