The Nu HTML Checker reports these, in this order. The italic text in quotation marks is the checker's own wording; the rest explains it.

  1. An “img” element must have an “alt” attribute, except under certain conditions. The logo has no text alternative. It is followed by the club's name, so it is decorative here: add alt="". If it stood alone, alt="Web Club".
  2. Bad value “next tuesday” for attribute “datetime” on element “time”: The literal did not satisfy the time-datetime format. The datetime attribute is for machines and takes a date such as 2026-11-03T18:00; the words between the tags are for people.
  3. No “p” element in scope but a “p” end tag seen. A paragraph cannot contain a list. The <ul> closed the paragraph, and the </p> after the list made a second, empty one. End the paragraph before the list.
  4. The element “button” must not appear as a descendant of the “a” element. Interactive content inside interactive content. This goes somewhere, so it is a link: drop the button and style the link.
  5. Duplicate ID “next”. Every id in a document must be unique. A fragment link or getElementById finds only the first.
  6. Element “p” not allowed as child of element “ul” in this context. A list holds list items only. Move the note out of the list, or make it an item.
  7. The heading “h4” (with computed level 4) follows the heading “h2” (with computed level 2), skipping 1 heading level. Headings may go down only one level at a time. Use h2, and restyle it with CSS if it should look smaller.

The checker also lists warnings, such as The first occurrence of ID “next” was here. Those point at the same problems.
